Lyrics

English: Drizzle

What a night full of weariness and cold!
The wind brings a strange lament.
The night seems a well of shadows
and I walk very slowly in the shade.
Meanwhile the drizzle
stresses itself
with its spikes
on my heart...

On this night, so cold and so mine,
always thinking about the same, I astonish myself
and as much as I’d want to push her away,
to get rid of and to forget her,
I remember her more.

Drizzle!
Alone and sad, along the sidewalk
goes this heart,
pierced by the sadness of a ruined house.
Feeling your ice,
because that one, with her oblivion
has opened a leak.
Lost!
Like a spirit that in the shadows
looks for her and calls out her name even more...
Drizzle... sadness...
Even the sky has begun to cry!

What a night full of tedium and cold!
You don’t see anybody crossing on the corner.
On the street, the row of lightbulbs
polishes the asphalt with a dim light.
And I go around like a waste,
always alone, always aside,
remembering you.
The raindrops fall on the puddle of my soul
all the way to the soaked, freezing bones,
and humiliating this torment
even the wind passes by
pushing me.
